Lazarus in West Texas How does the centipede move? Does it scuttle from the pantry knowing my boot is near? Does it know it is poison to me, & I death to it? Or is it a millipede? I throw it outside and sit, watching it curl and dry in the hapless winter sun. Even the cats won't touch it.
